Hypnosis For New Year’s Resolutions

A New Year’s Resolution is a promise to yourself to start doing something good, such as to lose some weight, or to finally stop doing something bad, like quit smoking. It is a promise to make changes in your life.

It is that time of the year again, when people make New Year’s resolutions to help them make changes in their life, however big or small, but for one reason or another they find them difficult to keep. They will begin the brand New Year going around saying to themselves something like, “Yes, I will lose some weight” over and over again, or saying, “Yes, I will quit smoking” over and over again. And then, by the end of January or even February, they will have completely given up because it was so hard to do it on their own.

A Healthy Meal

For example, if they want to lose weight, and they have told themselves that they will unfailingly walk round the block three times every morning, they will follow the same route each time. They know that there is a cake shop two corners away, and they craftily make sure their walk takes them by it. As they walk in the shop door, they will tell themselves, in no uncertain manner, that one delicious cream cake won’t do any harm, and it certainly won’t make much difference to their weight once in a while, even if they had only two of these cakes a week. As a consequence, their weight simply creeps up and up, and spirals up out of control again, and they are once again back where they started.

Or, if they want to quit smoking, and all of their life’s problems are simply getting too much to cope with, they will subconsciously reach for their very familiar packet of cigarettes. And they smoke even another cigarette.

A Breath Of Fresh Air

As the weeks pass, these people who make these New Year’s resolutions, simply lose all their self-motivation that they might have had at the beginning of the year. They will sit around aimlessly wondering how on earth are they going to help themselves make their life better.

Hypnosis helps people to make big changes in their life. It is a wonderful way of helping people to achieve and keep on track with their New Year’s resolutions. It is a safe, natural and extremely relaxing way of giving people success with whatever their resolution is, whether it is to quit smoking or to lose weight.

Fresh, Juicy Peaches

You can contact a hypnotist directly and ask for an appointment. Make sure that you tell them that you want to try hypnosis to help you to achieve your New Year’s resolution, and say for example that you want to be able to lose some weight. When you go and see the hypnotist, they will very slowly put you into an extremely deep and relaxing hypnotic state. This will stop you thinking over and over in your mind about why it is so hard to lose weight. When you are in this deeply relaxed state, the hypnotist will then be able to directly address and speak to your subconscious mind, and they will give it appropriate instructions and tell it what to do in order to help you to lose weight. For example, they may tell it that it must help you to stop eating so much chocolate every day. Once the hypnotist has finished giving your subconscious mind all the necessary instructions, you are then gently wakened back into full waking consciousness. When you have had your hypnosis session, it is a good idea to keep a journal of how your weight loss is progressing. You could keep some notes on what you eat every day, and weigh yourself once a week. If you are mindful and careful with your diet, and you make a chart in your notebook of your weekly weight, you will be able to see your weight slowly but surely coming down.

Hypnosis can really help you to motivate yourself to achieve and keep your New Year’s resolutions with absolute confidence. Losing weight can be hard. With the help of hypnosis, you will be able to change your thought patterns and find ways to break away from your old eating habits.

How To Keep Calm And Carry On In A Crisis

The “Keep Calm And Carry On” poster was produced in England during World War II. It was created by the UK government’s Ministry of Information in 1939, to increase the morale of the British people at the beginning of this war.

There are several ways to help yourself to feel a peaceful calmness when a crisis shows itself.

The use of affirmations is just one of these ways. It is very easy to relax when you use positive affirmations, simply because they will help you to completely calm down and unwind. So find a comfortable and quiet place where you can sit down, and take a few deep breaths to help you to relax. Close your eyes, and focus on positives. Focus on your strengths and your resources, instead of affirming and emphasizing the crisis. Repeat a few simple phrases out loud to yourself, such as:- “I am beginning to relax beautifully. I am feeling very positive today, and I shall continue feeling positive. I am feeling calm and mindful. I am feeling at peace. My thoughts

A Peaceful Landscape

are calming down. My mind is calm and quiet. My thoughts and my mind are calm, quiet and at peace. I am feeling mindful. I am feeling calm. I am feeling peaceful. I am feeling calm, quiet and relaxed. I am feeling calm, quiet, at peace and very comfortable. In fact, I am now feeling extremely comfortable. I am feeling a sense of comfort. There is only a deep sense of silence. My mind and my body are now completely relaxed. I can totally relax, and completely let go and totally unwind”. When you have spent 20 minutes or so repeating positive affirmations like this, you will feel very calm, relaxed and peaceful. You will feel a sense of comfort, joy and peace of mind.

Mindfulness Meditation can be very useful when you are having a crisis. It is a type of meditation in which you focus on being intensely aware of what you are sensing, feeling and hearing in the present moment. It instructs you how to slow down all your racing and negative thoughts. It will also calm down both your mind and your body, and greatly help you to reduce your stress levels generally. The first thing that you do, is find a comfortable and quiet place where you can sit down in silence. Now make sure that you are sitting very comfortably in your armchair or on your sofa, and just settle in.

A Forest To Meditate Upon

Breathe steadily and evenly, and then close your eyes. When you are ready, take a slow, deep breath, and try to relax yourself completely. Focus now on your breathing, or whatever else you have chosen to meditate upon. Your thoughts will immediately try and distract your attention away from what you wish to concentrate on, like your breathing, to something else like the ticking of a clock. As soon as you find yourself being distracted by your thoughts in this way, gently and silently return to focusing on what you were doing so in the first place. You will feel wonderfully calm, relaxed and peaceful after a session of Mindfulness Meditation.

Another method of feeling calm in a crisis is to practise some Guided Imagery Meditation. You will find this to be extremely relaxing and it will help to keep you calm. To do this kind of meditation, find a comfortable place where you can sit or lie down, and make sure you are in a very comfortable position. If you wish, you can play some gentle, quiet music to help you relax. Begin by taking a few slow, deep breaths to relax yourself, and close your eyes. Then focus on something very specific such as a particular goal that you wish to achieve, like keeping calm amidst a crisis. You keep the result that you want to achieve and hold it deep within your mind, and imagine it becoming reality. While you are doing this, form mental images that are quiet, calm and peaceful, such as an ocean in the setting sun, or an autumnal image of a forest glade. You will slowly but surely achieve the wonderful feeling of calmness and peace of mind that you are seeking.

Learning Yoga will help you to keep yourself calm and relaxed in any kind of crisis. It is very relaxing and will benefit both your mental and physical health, and it will also help you to feel very calm and peaceful mentally. There are several benefits of doing yoga regularly, including improving your posture. Yoga will make you feel stronger, because it will increase your flexibility and the strength in your muscles. It will increase your blood flow and lower your blood sugar. And more than anything lese, it will also help you to keep feeling calm, peaceful, and relaxed, and it will increase your self-confidence because it makes you feel good about yourself. It will also give you peace of mind. Although to begin with you might find it easier to join a yoga class because the tutor will help you with the different positions known as “asanas”, you can if you wish simply log into you tube and learn how to do it online.

Hypnosis is something that many people find really helpful if they want to keep calm and carry on. There are many hypnosis audios and videos, many of which can be found online. They will always help you to keep calm, become more relaxed, and gain peace of mind. Try to listen to one every evening, and you will find it to be extremely relaxing. Hypnosis is a safe, natural and extremely relaxing way of unwinding. It puts you into a deeply relaxed state, and whereupon the hypnotist can address your subconscious mind, and give you instructions to follow that will help you to keep calm and peaceful at all times, and not just in a crisis. You will then be gently wakened back into full waking consciousness. Straight after the hypnosis session, you will feel absolutely wonderful, and you will feel a wonderful sense of ease, comfort, and peace of mind.
