And if things do seem to get on top of you, just remember to keep in touch with friends and family, by phone, text, or email, or Skype, and have a friendly chat with them, and ask how they are doing. Give them a chance to chat to you, as well.

Decide how many and when, and you will find them to be really calming and soothing.

Any kinds of puzzles are good for this. There are jigsaw puzzles, crossword puzzles, sudoku puzzles. Craft hobbies are very useful, and you could try sewing, knitting, crochet or tapestry. You could start making things like children’s toys, or clothes. You can try baking. Cook home-made ready meals from scratch, and freeze them in the freezer, and just take them out when you want to use them. There are many other things you can do to entertain yourself, like meditation, indoor exercise, tai chi, yoga, playing an instrument or singing. All of these things will help you to keep your peace of mind. They will help you to focus on the task in hand and stop your worrying.

Every day, write out a Daily Plan, and pick one, or two, of these kinds of indoor activities that will give you the most pleasure. They will help you to relax and unwind and take your mind away from Covid 19.
