Review of “Hypnosis: How To Change Your Life In One Week”, by Exploration Of Humanity

I saw a video instructed by Exploration Of Humanity, entitled, “How To Change Your Life In One Week”.  At the very beginning of this video, you are thanked for listening.  This session is designed to help you become the person that you want to be, and over time there will be an improvement in your motivation, your confidence, and your abilities.  You need to listen to this video every day.  Listen to it in the privacy of your own home, and at a time when you will not be disturbed.  Do not listen to it while driving a car, or while operating machinery.

The first part is devoted to progressive physical relaxation.

You are told to sit back, relax, close your eyes, and make yourself comfortable.  Relax and do not worry about anything.  Just breathe in and breathe out and don’t worry about anything at all.  Let your muscles completely relax, and let the relaxation flow right through you.  Let the relaxation flow, starting from the top of your head down to your eyes, and from your eyes let this relaxation flow down your cheeks and down to your neck, and around to the back of your neck and down to your shoulders.  There now follow many detailed instructions of where to feel the relaxation as it flows right through your body, starting from the very top of your head and flowing right down to the bottom of your feet.

There is now a counting session.

You are told to go into a deeper and more relaxed state, while he counts from 10 right down to 1.

He begins to count, very slowly.

10 … now going deeper … and deeper … and deeper.  And 9 … going down … down … down.  And 8 … going deeper and deeper … and more relaxed.  And 7 … going deeper … and deeper … and deeper.  And 6 … going down … down … down.  And 5 … going deeper … and much more relaxed.  And 4 … going deeper and deeper.  And 3 … And 2 … And 1.  Repetition is important.

Throughout the counting, you just keep going deeper and deeper.

You are told to feel the relaxation.

You are told to enjoy the relaxation so much, that you feel like an astronaut floating in the air.

 

 

 

And now, while  you are thoroughly enjoying every moment of this deep and wonderful relaxation, you are then told to imagine that you are now in an elevator.

This is your journey and you can decide what the elevator looks like.

The door is closed, and you press the Down button.

As the elevator starts going down, he begins to count again, very slowly.

10 … now going deeper … and deeper … and deeper.  And 9 … going down … down … down.  And 8 … going deeper and deeper … and more relaxed.  And 7 … going deeper … and deeper … and deeper.  And 6 … going down … down … down.  And 5 … going deeper … and much more relaxed.  And 4 … going deeper and deeper.   And 3.  And 2.  And 1.  Repetition is important.

Throughout the counting, you just keep going deeper and deeper, only this time you keep going even deeper than before … and even deeper … and even deeper still.

When he gets to 1, the elevator has now stopped and the door is open.  You are told to step out of it, and now you find yourself in a field.  It is a warm, comfortable summer night and you can hear the crickets chirping and a warm wind blowing.

You know you are alone, but you are safe and you are comfortable.  You go off and explore this field.  You walk though the field, and you feel so good, so relaxed, and so at ease.  You find a clearing in the field and you lie down in the clearing, gazing up at all the stars.  It is a clear night, and you can see thousands and thousands of stars up in the sky.

You have never seen so many stars, far too many to count.  And as you focus your attention on the beauty of the stars, you understand that the limitless number of stars also means the limitless number of possibilities.  This is your life.  You are limitless.  You can do what you want.  Take a moment and think about what is good and what is important in your life, and about what you want in your life.

You are limitless.

Think about what you want in the future, like a new relationship, better health, better finances, or a new car.  It can be anything.  Many similar instructions follow.  He says that obstacles are just obstacles, and they can be overcome.

He then says that you can do anything.  And then you are told to imagine somebody who has succeeded, and think about their qualities and their success.  You are told to imagine you are that person for a moment.

You can have this.  You can do this.  And then you come back to yourself in your own mind, bringing the feeling of success with you.  You can have whatever you want.  You are told that you have the strength to succeed, including affirmations of succeeding like, “You are limitless.  You can succeed.  You can do what you want.  You can have what you want.  You are limitless.  You can succeed.  You will succeed”.  This part goes on for quite some time, with the same affirmations being repeated over and over again.  He also says, that the more you think like that, the more positive and resourceful you will become.  The unlimited abilities in your mind will find ways to solve any problems.  You will move forward.  You will succeed.

He finishes off the video by saying, “I will leave you now.  Good day.  Awaken when you wish”.

And towards the end of the video there is some relaxing music played, during which you gently awaken in your own time.

 

 

The benefits of this video include building self-esteem, increasing confidence, strengthening your will to succeed, and strengthening your determination to change your life.

It would have a benefit if you listen to it every day, because you would focus on building your confidence and focus more on your success.
