Staying Calm In Chaotic Times

Peace of Mind is often that particular sense of profound peace, ease and comfort that you can sometimes feel and experience.

Peace of Mind is also the absence of worry, which is when you find that nearly all the time you are feeling thoroughly content with the way things are going for you, and when you are nearly always feeling very calm, and very peaceful.

Ways To Help Yourself To Stay Calm In Chaotic Times

A good way of helping yourself to stay calm in these chaotic times, is to really concentrate only on things that are within your control, and not on anything that is outside of your control.

For example, you could concentrate on your own physical and mental health and well-being. You could write out a list of your priorities in this area for yourself, and work your way steadily through them.

Work At Sorting Out Your Personal Finances

During the time of the pandemic, your personal finances might have well got out of hand, and they may need some tidying up.

Try and work at setting aside half an hour a week to do this in.

Work At Sorting Out The Home Where You Live

Another thing you could do, is to work at sorting out the home where you live, and work out what is rubbish and remove it all. What is left will probably just need cleaning, but you may have a lot of papers that need sorting through and filing. You may then decide that you need to upgrade one or two electrical appliances, and so you could do that as well. For example, in the kitchen, you may well decide to chuck out everything in your freezer to make loads of space, and then you go on a huge shopping trip for what you want to have in the fridge part and in the freezer part, as though you have just bought a new one.

Having a nice, clean and tidy home will help you to stay calm and peaceful and will soothe your nerves or anxiety about what is happening in the world outside. It will help you tremendously to work your way around your home, especially when you finally see the finished product.

Work At Your Personal Health Priorities

You could make a list of your personal health priorities, and work through the things on your list slowly and steadily, one by one. You could take as long as you like over this, because you do not have to be in any hurry.

For an example, you could put:-

To improve my physical self-image, so that I look and feel better physically and mentally.

To lose weight.

To make sure that I eat three balanced healthy meals a day, i.e. breakfast, lunch and dinner, and to create a weekly plan of what I will eat at these meals.

To eat more healthily and keep track of what I eat and drink throughout the day.

To keep busy, for example by doing a lot of cleaning and housework.

To draw up a daily plan for the cleaning and housework.

To not feel so depressed and sorry for myself.

To learn to meditate properly. A simple form of meditation is to sit quietly with your eyes closed and count your breaths as they pass in and out. Do this for 10 minutes.

To learn to use affirmations.

To try using hypnosis to help me with some of my ideas. For example, I could watch some online hypnosis videos on websites like “You Tube”. Or I could make an appointment to go and see a hypnotist and ask them to help me.

The Use Of Hypnosis To Help You To Stay Calm

Hypnosis is a safe, natural and relaxing way of learning how to gain great comfort and peace of mind after seeing a hypnotist, whether in their office or online. They will welcome you in a courteous and professional manner, so there is no need to feel nervous or anxious. They will have a chat with you, to find out what you would like to have help with, and what your problems are. Once the hypnosis session begins, they will talk to you soothingly and comfortingly, and when they know you are relaxed enough, they will start to address your subconscious mind directly.

Hypnosis in Action

What the hypnotist will do, is remove the old set of instructions that your subconscious mind was given previously at some point, and they will replace it with a completely new set of instructions which it will be able to follow easily. These new instructions will be all about helping you to stay relaxed and calm about everything. And when they have woken you at the end of the hypnosis session, you will find that you are feeling truly relaxed, absolutely wide awake, and feeling absolutely wonderful.
